Seward Memorial Library
Seward Memorial Library will host a community discussion of the book Panic by Sharon Draper, a Plum Creek Literary Festival author. “Panic is a fast-paced novel that even reluctant readers enjoy,” said SHS English 9 teacher Melissa Pohl. “Without getting explicit, it delves into darker elements like human trafficking and dating violence. They’re sensitive topics, but ones teenagers and their families should be talking about.” The discussion will be led by Melissa Pohl and is open to anyone who has read, wants to read or is interested in the novel.
