Ed McLaughlin will come with the Concordia track team made up of national level athletes. The athletes will share their life stories explaining the process of becoming a champion. There will be a time for questions. The Concordia track and field programs are coming off of a women’s outdoor national title and men’s national runner-up finish this past weekend in Gulf Shores, Ala.

Allison Brooks – Seward, Nebraska
Allison is a Seward High graduate who is a national qualifying Pole Vaulter for the Bulldogs. She is a 2-time All-conference pole vaulter.
Jose Rojas – Nogales, Arizona
Jose is an All-American shot putter for the Concordia University Track team. He is also a 15 time national qualifier in the shot put, discus, weight throw and hammer. He is currently in the top 10 all time at Concordia in all these disciplines.
Josh Slechta – Kennard, Nebraska
Josh is the 2015 Indoor Weight Throw National Champion. He is the school record holder in both the Hammer throw and Discus. Josh is also the 2016 GPAC champion in the Hammer and Discus. He recently set the GPAC conference record in the Hammer throw.
Tricia Svoboda – Norfolk, Nebraska
Tricia is a 2015 All-American Javelin thrower. She is also a national qualifier in the discus. Tricia is currently in the top 5 all time, in both the discus and javelin, at Concordia.
Lucas Wiechman – Pilger, Nebraska
Lucas is a 2015 Decathlon National Champion Runner-up and the 2016 Heptathlon National Champion Runner up. He is also an All-American Pole Vaulter and GPAC champion Hurdler.
