Fifty years ago this month author Anne McCaffrey published Dragonflight, the first in what would become a decades-long bestselling fantasy/sci-fi series about the world of Pern. In honor of her long-running achievement, Seward Memorial Library is initiating a Pern book discussion group this fall. An organizational meeting of Pizza and Pern will be held on Wednesday, August 1 at 6:30. Please enter the library using the west door.
