This story is about a girl who gets caught up in a twister. She ends up on the oyher side of the rainbow. She runs into a scarecrow, a tinman, and a lion. She also runs into witches. To get home she needs to say these words: "There's no place like home."

This book is about a girl named Dorthy and her dog Todo who get caught in a tornado and travel to another land. they travel to the Wizard of Oz and on the way they meet all kinds of charactorsand have all kinds of adventures. Dorthy wants to ask the Wizard to help her return to Kansas and her aunt. i wont tell u if she does, this is a really fun book, and the first in a series. i have read several of them. they are about the adventures that the caracters have after they meet the Wizard.
