The Princess Bride
by S. Morgenstern,
abridged by William Goldman

"The Princess Bride" is the best book ever written (or abridged)! It's an awesome tale that puts country versus country, good against evil, and love versus hate. This incredible adventure and extremely sweet and sentimental love story is full of freaky beasts, unexpected surprises, and totally unforgettable characters like... Westley, the amazingly hot and muscular farm boy who jeopordizes his life and worse for his true love;Inigo Montoya, the Spanish swordsman who's basically made out to be an insane avenging machine;Fezzik,(my favorite character) a gentle and rhyme obsessed giant that doesn't like using his strength to hurt people;Vizzini, the evil Sicilian, who's so smart he's almost stupid;Prince Humperdinck, the vile ruler of Guilder, who loves hunting and murdering animals so much that he had the 'Zoo of Death' built;Count Rugen,a pain obsessed physcopath maniac;Miracle Max,the King's ex-Miracle Man,who can raise the dead (kind of);and ,of course,Buttercup, Westley's true love, the most perfectly beautiful woman in the history of the entire world! This is an awesome and hilarious book!!YOU'VE GOTTA READ IT!!I've also read "Buttercup's Baby" the long-lost sequel! All I can say is...read this book or you're missing out on the best story ever!!!
