The My Info feature of the Online Catalog allows library patrons to keep up-to-date with their library account. Using My Info lets you see what items you currently have checked out from the library, if you have any fines or overdue books, or if you have pending holds on items. You can also place holds on items after you have logged in using the My Info button.
To be able to use the My Info feature you must have a Seward Memorial Library account and you must supply the library with a password. If you have both of these items you can proceed.
When you click on the My Info icon you will be asked to enter a barcode and password. The barcode is your library card number and the password is whatever combination of numbers and letters you supplied the library with. After you have entered these, click on OK.
Your library account information will then be shown to you. If you would like to place holds on items, you can proceed to search as normal. If you find a book that you would like to read, you can put that book on hold by clicking on "Email Request" button in the upper right part of the page. Fill out the form and send it.
When you are finished using your account, click on the Logout icon so that logging in with your barcode and password will be necessary once again to gain access to your personal account. |
