The Seward Library Foundation recently received a donation from former Seward resident Ruth Schmieding Parker, along with a note that said: "With fond memories of my many trips to the library while growing up in Seward - and my embarrassment in the summer of 1949 when the librarian told me not to come in there wearing shorts. :-) RP"
The library would love to hear more stories like this as we begin a library history project. Numbers simply aren't enough - stories from people like you will make the library's history come alive. Whether your experiences are from years ago or last week, we'd love to hear from you!
