National Library Outreach Day (formerly National Bookmobile Day) celebrates library outreach and the dedicated library professionals who are meeting their patrons where they are. Each year, National Library Outreach Day is celebrated on the Wednesday of National Library Week.
RAH or Read At Home is a home delivery service available to residents of the City of Seward who have a Seward Memorial Library card in good standing. If you are unable to get to the library because of a temporary or extended disability, chronic illness or are otherwise restricted to your home, you are eligible for RAH. If you are elderly and without transportation or if you are a resident of a local care facility, you may also make use of this service. There is no charge for this service. Please call the library at 402-643-3318 to be added to the route.
Join the celebration all week long on social media by using the hashtag #NationalLibraryWeek.
