After School

After School Programs are from 4:00-4:45 and will resume the week of January 23 and run for 10 weeks. Registration is required and can be done below or by calling 402-643-3318. If your child was already registered for the fall session you do not need to re-register.

Programs that will be offered are:

LEGO Monday - After School Program LEGO® Club for 1st–8th grades

Discover what you can do with over 10,000 LEGO® pieces. Take the weekly challenge and then enjoy some free exploration time. Become a super builder at the library.
K-1 Story Time - After School Program Story Club for K–1st grades
Children do a fun activity and hear several books read to them while they enjoy a little after school snack.
Chess Club - After School Program Chess Club for 1st–8th grades
Brand new through experienced chess players can come and “skittle.” There will be lessons on very basic chess. If you want to practice on your own the library has a few chess sets available to check out.
Make and Play - After School Maker Club for 2nd–4th grades
After a story and a snack, children will discover, design, tinker and craft as they make a project to take home.
Pokémon Club - After School Program Pokémon Club for 1st–8th grades
Come enjoy all things Pokémon! Pokemon cards, battles, books & movies!
