This year’s All Seward Reads Together novel will be “The Stolen Lady” by Laura Morelli. Join Seward as we all read this fascinating historical novel based around Leonardo De Vinci’s famous painting, the Mona Lisa.
The story is woven around two time periods, the first involving the commissioning and painting of the masterpiece itself, and the second during World War II, and the heroic attempts made to keep this treasure out of the hands of the Nazi’s.
Come read this entertaining novel with us. Patrons will get a chance to meet and discuss the book at the end of the summer.
