Make a Request to Borrow

Looking for a title that we do not currently offer?

You may request to borrow the book from another library!

All requests are placed in a nationwide search and are fulfilled at the discretion of the lending library. Requests can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks to be processed.

Restrictions and Regulations

  • The lending library that accepts the request determines the length of the loan, unless other arrangements are made. Materials published within the past year are typically not loaned out to other libraries.

  • The patron is required to pay return postage for the item received, whether or not they check the item out. If an ILL item request is not picked up from the library, the patron's account will be assessed the cost of postage which may restrict the card from additional services until the amount is paid.

  • Patrons who lose or damage materials received through ILL will be required to pay the fine or replace the item according to the policies of the lending library.

  • Patrons are limited to 5 ILL items at a time.
