Read at Home

Any materials normally allowed to circulate are available for this service, including books, magazines, videos and audio books. You will need to specify what you prefer to help the staff make selections.

You may call the library or email the staff to initiate your involvement in the RAH program and to ensure placement on the regular delivery schedule.

Delivery of materials will be made at a scheduled time. Staff will select your materials before each delivery day, so if you want something specific, reserve that item online or call the library before your delivery day.

All library materials are checked out to you for four weeks, unless it is an item in high demand which has a 14-day checkout period. Most items may be renewed. There are no fines for items which are overdue because of the delivery schedule.

If you do not have a current library card at Seward Memorial Library but would like to get one to receive RAH service, call 402-643-3318. A patron number can be issued to you and the necessary card application brought to you for completion during our first visit.

All policies of Seward Memorial Library apply to the RAH program, including the replacement of lost or damaged materials. Please contact the staff if you know in advance that you will not be home during your scheduled delivery time. Materials will not be left outside at home addresses.
