We will be showing two motion pictures this month at 1:00 PM in our Lower-Level Conference Center. Each month, during the first movie, we will ask patrons to choose between three entertaining movies and choose the next month’s second movie. Come by so that you can cast your vote!
Thursday, August 7 features the 2025 thriller, “Drop.” Feel the suspense as you follow Violet, a widowed mother, on a much-anticipated date. Things begin to unravel when she receives a phone call from a mysterious stranger threatening to kill her son and sister unless she kills her date first.
Wednesday, August 20 features a 2025 science fiction comedy, “Mickey 17”. This film delves into the themes of dehumanization and the ethics of cloning as a disposable person is sent to colonize a new planet.
