Going Out of Town?

Put Your Library Holds on Vacation!

Do not lose your spot in line for that bestseller just because you are heading out of town! You can easily defer your requests, so they wait for you until you get back.

Here is how to hit the pause button in just a few quick steps:

1. Head to the library homepage and click My Account in the top right corner to log in.

2. Once you are logged in, click My Account in that top right corner one more time.

3. Click on the Reserves/Requests tab.

4. Look for the second bullet point that asks, "Going out of town?" and click defer.

5. A handy dropdown calendar will appear. Just enter the dates you will be away, click confirm, and you are all set!
