Are you looking to escape from your spring chores for a few hours or perhaps you just want a little entertainment? Stop by the library and have an enjoyable afternoon watching a movie! We will be showing two motion pictures in May at 1:00 PM in our lower-level conference center. Each month, during the first movie, we will ask patrons to choose between three entertaining movies and choose the next month’s second movie. Come by so that you can cast your vote!
Thursday, May 1 features the 2025 American science fiction thriller, “Companion.” This movie, directed by Drew Hancock from Omaha, Nebraska, follows a couple on a weekend getaway with friends to an isolated lake house. Things begin to unravel when it is discovered that one of the guests is a companion robot.
Wednesday, May 21 features a 2017 neo-Western crime film, “Wind River.” This feature, starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen, revolves around a murder investigation on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming. Follow the two main characters as they try to solve a mystifying murder and tackle the challenges they are confronted with.
