We did it, Seward! Thanks to an incredible, final-hour surge of reading, we have officially reclaimed our bragging rights and brought the summer trophy back home where it belongs!

The final score in the Summer Reading Smackdown is in: Seward 3,977 — York 3,507!

After last year's defeat, our readers brought the heat to Highway 34 to avenge the loss. You turned in punch cards by the armload, hit those double points, and packed the library stacks to prove that when our community comes together, there is no stopping us. Every single book logged made the ultimate difference in pushing us over the finish line.
