The battle lines have been drawn, the pages are turning, and right now... York is holding the lead.

Our annual Summer Reading Smackdown against York is in full swing, and if we want to bring that glorious trophy back home to Seward, we need a massive push! The competition runs through the end of July, which means time is ticking away fast.

We aren't just looking for a close finish—we want a total knockout. It’s time for Seward adults to pick up the pace, power through your reading stacks, and show York what our community is made of!

📱 New This Year: Log Your Reads Instantly Online!

To make it easier than ever to out-read our rivals along Highway 34, we are thrilled to introduce our brand-new digital logging tool. No more worrying about dropping off your reading sheets or forgetting your card at home!

Whenever you finish a print book, an audiobook, or an eBook on Libby, you can log it instantly from your smartphone or computer:

(Prefer the classic approach? Don't worry! Physical punch cards are still available at the front desk if you love getting those physical stamps.)

🎁 Read to Defeat York & Win Big

Every single book you log brings Seward one step closer to victory, but that’s not all. For every 5 books you complete, you will earn an entry into our spectacular Summer Prize Basket Drawings!
